Collection: STU FREESTONE: CHEESEMONGER POET

--- CHEESEMONGER BY DAY / POET BY NIGHT  ---

Stu Freestone has become a distinctive voice on the UK spoken-word scene. His work lives between grit and gentleness, written in a playful style rooted in everyday moments.
Drawing from family stories, kitchen tables, pub corners, and stages across the country, his poetry celebrates ordinary lives with extraordinary care.

Blending conversational humour with emotional honesty, Freestone’s writing explores love, loss, resilience, and the quiet lights that carry us through. The Lights That Blur Between has been written over years, shaped on stage, and finally brought together somewhere between a notebook, a pint, and a deep breath. The collection moves through nostalgia and adolescence, relationships and grief, and the ongoing work of processing life; with the occasional (and necessary) detours into cheese and condiments.
